Six or seven years ago, I read a really beautiful book called Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson. There was a decent movie made from it starring Ethan Hawke, but the book was really much better. It's the story of a murder trial, set in a small town that still has traces of anti-asian racism that gripped North America during World War II.

I need a day off in a bad way. This weekend was a little bit harry, running around doing some shopping, going to the bank, the dentist, buying some office furniture.
